Athens Technical College in Athens, GA seeks an Instructor/Clinical Coordinator for our Dental Hygiene program.  The Instructor is responsible for implementing all aspects of didactic, laboratory, and clinical teaching in Dental Hygiene clinical and related courses as needed, coordinating second year clinics, maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment, curriculum development, student advising, and supporting the College and Dental Hygiene mission and initiatives.  The Instructor must be knowledgeable of current technologies in clinic and appropriate to the area of instruction.

• Registered Dental Hygienist with a Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene or related field from a regionally accredited institution.  Master's degree in related field preferred

• Must have three years clinical experience and experience in education is preferred.  Three of the past seven years of employment must be in clinical experience and/or education.

• Licensed as a registered hygienist in the State of Georgia, or be eligible for licensure.

• Candidate must be familiar with ADA Accreditation standards/guidelines.
