Job Description


Position is responsible for daily reconciliation of newly boarded loan and ensuring accuracy.     


  1. Primary contact person for on-boarding clients.
  2. Provide loan level reconciliations of new and current portfolio’s before and after boarding.
  3. Provide Due Diligence and Quality Assurance procedures to ensure accurate and timely boarding of new portfolios.
  4. Work with the new clients before and after the loan boarding process to ensure an accurate and timely conversion of all loans.
  5. Work with the Development department once a client has been identified through the termination of the client
  6. Assist in identifying potential risks, communicate them to management and take appropriate steps to avoid risk.
  7. Identify potential improvement to processes and procedures.
  8. Develop and maintain positive working relationships by providing high quality customer service at all times to all internal and external customers.
  9. Promotes honest and open communication throughout the credit union.
  10. Demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with the credit union’s values, philosophies, and leadership characteristics.
  11. Work with other credit union departments to insure the workflow or process is providing the best service to the members.
  12. Performs other duties as assigned.


  1. Proficient knowledge of mortgage investor reporting.
  2. Experience and hands on knowledge of bank account reconciliations.
  3. Experience with Mortgage or Banking Audit practices.
  4. Demonstrated ability to remit required deliverables in a timely fashion.
  5. Knowledge of Agency Loss Mitigation alternatives.
  6. Knowledge of FHA, VA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and RESPA Guidelines.
  7. Proficient knowledge of mortgage software.
  8. Proficient experience with Microsoft Excel.
  9. Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  10. Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  11. Ability to work under pressure and with strict deadlines.
  12. Ability to self-initiate and work independently without close supervision.
  13. Strong ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
  14. Ability to resolve interpersonal conflict and miscommunications.
  15. Knowledge of spreadsheet software and ability to use word processing software.
  16. Must be able to be bonded.



In this position, individual will be expected to lift up to 20 pounds from time to time.

Also, must be able to stoop, bend, reach, or stand for extended periods of time.  Must be able to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time.


This position is expected to work in general office environment and may have to travel for visits to other credit union facilities or for training purposes. Overtime will be expected to be worked as needed.


Four-year college degree in finance, accounting or related field plus two or more years audit or due diligence experience preferred.  High school diploma or equivalent with three or more years’ experience will substitute for a degree.  Previous financial institution experience in a related role is a plus.
