Job Description

Assist the VP, Finance in supporting corporate financial, investment and liquidity functions on a company-wide basis.  Monitor financial performance.  Prepare reports for management.  Analyze financial records and studies.  Forecast future financial, capital and liquidity positions based on historical trends and available information.   

Skills/Requirements

Functions:

  • Provides analytical support in all corporate investment and finance issues, including liquidity and capital.
  • Assists in preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports and public reporting.
  • Prepares financial, capital and liquidity forecasts and budgets.
  • Analyzes trends and variances in financial performance.
  • Prepares reports and provides support for Asset-Liability Committee. 
  • Supports the company’s client profitability model.
  • Responds to management inquiries and performs special projects, as needed.

 

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting.  Finance emphasis preferred.

 

Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and reasoning abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and hands-on.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to interact with diverse personalities in multiple levels of management.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and adapt to changing priorities.
