Job Summary:

Carlisle Construction Materials Incorporated, a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology has an immediate opening for a Regional Sales Director for its Insulfoam Division, in the northern California territory. Candidates must manage and direct manufacturer's representatives and distributors to achieve sales objectives.  This includes, calling on contractors and distributors to promote Insulfoam products, developing relationships with key decision makers and creating territory development plans is expected. This position must also work with building owners, architects and consultants to develop Insulfoam specifications. Candidates must have a working knowledge of the construction industry and have an in-depth knowledge of the roofing industry; understanding roof insulations and membranes, XPS (extruded polystyrene), and EPS (expanded polystyrene).

Travel requirement- 60%

Job Responsibilities:

  • Regularly call on contractors and distributors to promote Insulfoam, its products, and programs.
  • Interface with company departments to achieve sales objectives.
  • Perform presentations to educate our customers.
  • Call on building owners, architects and consultants to develop Insulfoam specifications.
  • Create and implement territory development plans.
  • Provide management with written correspondence and monthly sales reports.
  • Interface with other company departments to achieve sales projections; this includes field problem solving and negotiating to satisfy company and customer objectives.
  • Assist in the development of Insulfoam Sales and Marketing Strategy.

Minimum Job Requirements:

A Bachelors degree in business, sales/marketing, construction management or related field is required. In addition, candidates must have at least ten (10) years experience working in a sales environment within the roofing / construction industry.  EPS and XPS sales experience is highly preferred. Candidates must also have at least five (5) years experience supervising field sales personnel.
