Job Description

We are currently seeking a Resident Relations Coordinator for Edgewater Court & Tuscan Villas, a market rental property in St. Louis, MO.

The Resident Relations Coordinator is to assist the Property Manager in effectively preparing apartments for rent and assisting residents in the move-in process, as well as serving as the property's "Brand Ambassador."


  • Conduct all business in accordance with The Habitat Company's policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act and all other laws pertaining to apartments.
  • Maintain positive customer relations attitude.
  • Physically inspect property, pick up litter and report any service needs to maintenance staff; additionally, will inspect move-outs and vacancies when requested.
  • Work with move-ins each month.
  • Greet prospective residents, show property and perform leasing duties if needed.
  • Answer incoming phone calls from new residents.
  • Contribute ideas to Property Manager for marketing property and improving resident satisfaction.
  • Organize and file all applicable reports, leases and paperwork.
  • Proof-read all lease paperwork and process move-ins and move-outs.
  • Prepare work tickets for move-in and move-out packets.
  • Coordinate moves.
  • Conduct resident orientations.
  • Input and update resident directories, key-card and waiting information.
  • Follow-up on resident move-outs and preventive maintenance checklists.
  • Assign resident parking, bicycle storage and storage lockers.
  • Maintain elevator schedule. 
  • At least one (1) year of experience in property management preferred.
  • Knowledgeable of all phases of leasing and resident retention.
  • Ability to maintain a positive customer relations attitude.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales or related field preferred.
  • Ability to be assertive and provide follow-through for current and prospective residents.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is necessary.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
