Job Description

The Professional Service Operations team within Aptean’s World-wide Professional Services organization is responsible for defining and implementing processes, systems and operating procedures to leverage the utilization of global resources and ensure consistency in measuring and managing the PS business.


The OpenAir Administrator will work closely with Professional Services operations leadership in managing systems, financial operations, and internal business processes.  The administrator will be responsible for the processing of client billing, project scheduling, administration of the OpenAir application system, and reporting to support Professional Services.


This is an exciting opportunity to join Aptean’s PS Operations function where you will be identifying, designing and implementing standard processes and driving robust systems and tools on a global scale.

  • Act as the professional services system administrator for OpenAir, which includes:
    • Manage daily project scheduling and consultant resourcing, including 3rd party resources
    • Manage customer billing process monthly
    • Work closely with Finance to ensure all revenue is recognized on a monthly basis
    • Support users with timesheets and expense reports in the OpenAir PSA application
    • Manage skills inventory for the Professional Services organization in OpenAir
    • Present consistent, high quality weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting
    • Create ad hoc reports as needed
    • Perform data analysis
  • Facilitate services sales process/requests through collaboration with Sales, Finance, contracts, and other functional groups
  • Liaise and partner with other departments (IT, Support, Product Management, Finance, Sales, etc) to drive change
  • Understand the process and business practices (including regional variations) of Aptean’s global PS organization.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related experience
  • 1 – 2 years experience in Services and Support roles, such as Technical Support, Professional Services, Sales and/or Consulting
  • Expertise with MS Office products, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Quick learner and self-starter
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Ability to make sound decisions and judgments
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems, perform complex tasks, and prioritize multiple projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community
  • Knowledge or familiarity of one or more of the primary information systems tools (PSA, CRM, Sales Configurator) desired
  • Database skills and report creation experience a plus.
