Summary:

This position works closely with the infrastructure, database, support teams, and external customers. The successful candidate will have demonstrated time management skills and the ability to prioritize assignments.

Candidate must be flexible and excited about working in a fast paced company; have proven communication and organizational skills; and be willing and able to focus on both internal and external customer service to meet business needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Install, upgrade, patch, and configure the P2 Bolo and Excalibur products and their related technologies on internal P2 development environments and on-premise at P2 customer sites
• Analyze and resolve problems associated with these technologies
• Perform Quality Assurance checks on releases prior to becoming generally available to clients
• Maintain release documentation
• Participate in the refinement of the software release process
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

• Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and IT experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Competent technical, analytical, and problem solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing deadlines and priorities
• Basic familiarity with basic command-line navigation on UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems
• Some software development background or experience

Preferences:

• 2-5 years experience in software development, software administration, or other related role
• Experience using Salesforce.com and Team Foundation Server would be an asset
• Experience using UNIDATA and related technologies would be an asset
