Meets attendance requirements as described in employee manual.&nbsp;</li> </ul> </td> <td style="width: 319px; height: 76px"> <ul> <li> Customer Focus: Puts customers first, and serves them with uncompromising personal <strong>C</strong>ourtesy, <strong>A</strong>ttentiveness, <strong>R</strong>esponsiveness, and <strong>E</strong>mpathy (<strong>CARE</strong>).</li> </ul> </td> </tr> <tr> <td style="width: 319px; height: 32px"> <ul> <li> Completes mandatory in-service meetings.</li> <li> Promote principles of tenant directed care including honoring tenant&rsquo;s desires, strengths and preferences.</li> <li> Promote tenants highest level of function.</li> </ul> </td> <td style="width: 319px; height: 32px"> <ul> <li> Complies with all HIPAA policies and procedures.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li> Honor and promote tenant choice and autonomy.</li> <li> Provide cares based on tenant&rsquo;s desires for how and when assistance will be given.</li> </ul> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> &nbsp;</p> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> <strong><em>Essential Job Functions:</em></strong></p> <ol> <li> Phoning, mailing and faxing physician phone orders for signatures and ensure they are &nbsp;returned in a timely manner.</li> <li> &nbsp;Transfer tenants, in wheelchairs, from room to commons area, dining area, activities or church.</li> <li> &nbsp;Administer medications as ordered; to include insulin, injections, topical, enteral, oral, etc.</li> <li> &nbsp;Understand the importance and necessity of accurate documentation.</li> <li> &nbsp;&nbsp;Provide care on the basis of infection control and blood borne pathogen policy and procedures.</li> <li> &nbsp;Answer tenants call signals.</li> <li> Turn and reposition bedridden, hospice patients, alone or with assistance, to prevent &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;bedsores.</li> <li> Observe tenant conditions, measuring and recording food and liquid intake and output &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;and vital signs, and report changes to professional staff, physician and/or family. &nbsp;</li> <li> &nbsp;Provide tenants with help walking, exercising, and moving in and out of bed.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li> Bathe, groom, shave, dress, and complete incontinent care as needed.</li> <li> Adhere to established tenant care policies. &nbsp;</li> <li> Collect specimens such as urine, feces, or sputum.</li> <li> Serve on the appropriate committees required by the State and Federal Codes.</li> <li> Other duties as assigned.</li> </ol>


<p> <span face=""><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></span></p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> <span face="">Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities </span><strong><em>required to enter</em></strong>the job.</p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <ul> <li> <span face="">Experience as a Nursing Assistant in a CBRF or other health care setting.</span></li> <li> <span face="">Nursing Assistant certification preferred.</span></li> <li> <span face="">Certification in medication administration, or willing to obtain.</span></li> </ul> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> <span face="">Additional knowledge, skills and abilities </span><strong><em>required to competently perform</em></strong>the job.</p> <ul> <li> <span face="">Maintain up to date CNA licensure, if applicable.</span></li> <li> <span face="">Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the organization.</span></li> <li> <span face="">Must be able to relate to and work with elderly that may be ill, disabled, emotionally upset and, at times, hostile within the organization. &nbsp;</span></li> </ul> <p> &nbsp;</p>
