Job Description

  Perform secretarial functions within the Engineering department.  Maintain work schedules, licenses, health records, personnel files and financial records of the department.  Create and track purchase requisitions, receiving reports, orders stationary and other supplies as necessary.  Coordinate activities within the Engineering department and its workers.  Receives, processes and generates work tickets for services provided by the engineering department.  Contact vendors, schedule work and places orders as necessary.  Process departmental payroll.

Skills/Requirements
  • Two years previous secretarial experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to handle office assignments with minimal supervision a must.
  • Excellent typing skills and proficiency with all Microsoft Suite software (word, excel, powerpoint) required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must.
  • Proven ability in developing/organizing office filing and work flow systems required.
  • Knowledge and expertise using electronic purchasing systems such as Lawson required.
  • Knowledge and expertise using payroll processing systems such as ADP preferred.
