Job Description

GENERAL FUNCTIONS:

Greets members, vendors, couriers, job applicants and other visitors to the CAO building.  Provides first-line security oversight for the corporate office lobby entrance.  Performs various administrative duties, as needed. 

Part-Time Hours - ideal M-F 9am-3pm with some flexibility as needed for additional coverage.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Greet members, vendors, couriers, job applicants and other visitors in a consistent professional and friendly manner adhering to proper security protocol.
  2. Provide security oversight for corporate office lobby by monitoring security monitors, checking for badges, etc. 
  3. Perform monthly review of security cameras at branches.
  4. Answer phone calls promptly and courteously and route to appropriate personnel.
  5. Ensure the visitor area is constantly staffed during agreed business hours and maintained in a neat and orderly fashion.
  6. Perform various duties to assist other departments:  folding and mailing loan coupons, ordering business cards, ordering lunches, sending children’s birthday cards, renewing notaries, special project requests, etc.
  7. Perform various duties to support Employee Treasures:  selling stamps, tickets (movies, amusement parks), etc.
  8. Department STARZ representative.
  9. Assist facilities and mailroom staff as needed, cross train to basic skills.
  10. Work with other credit union departments to insure the workflow or process is providing the best service to the members.
  11. Promote honest and open communication throughout the credit union.
  12. Demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with the credit union’s values, philosophies, and leadership characteristics.
  13. Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  1. Must possess strong customer service skills.
  2. Must be punctual yet flexible.
  3. Strong organizational and planning skills.
  4. Ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities.
  5. Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
  6. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  7. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
  8. Ability to resolve interpersonal conflict and miscommunications.
  9. Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Access.
  10. Must be able to be bonded.

 PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

In this position, individual will be expected to lift up to 20 pounds from time to time.

Also, must be able to stoop, bend, reach, or stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time.

 WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position is expected to work in general office environment and may have to travel for visits to other credit union facilities or for training purposes.

 EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years of front-line customer service experience in a corporate environment. Previous experience answering a multi-line phone system required.
