Explore and determine a need for our solutions at a prospective company by calling a list of prospects; identifying and documenting current learning and employee development capabilities and desired capabilities (identifying a “gap”) as well as opportunities to provide support for prospects external customers and channel partners resulting in a appointment being set for the Inside Sales Representative.
Execute business to business proactive outreach by outbound calling of key contacts in prospective companies within identified territories to generate awareness and interest in our solutions resulting in an appointment being generated for an Inside Sales representative to follow-up and move the potential opportunity forward.
Provide a clear, compelling and articulate explanation of our business value to prospective customers.
Generate qualified leads to our Inside Sales Team.
Probe for business “gap” and pre-qualify need and decision authority.
Schedule appointments for an Inside Sales Representative.
Maintain and add information to Salesforce in a prescribed manner.
Must be able to work the business hours appropriate for assigned territory.
Perform all duties and achieve quota and activity goals as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
A High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
Requires 1 to 3 years of Business Development experience
Excellent telephone and communication skills.
Working knowledge of the Internet and MS-Office software. Knowledge of software sales, technical or computer products, and the Internet a definite plus.
