Job Description

Schenck SC’s Appleton office is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, team-focused and skilled Administrative Assistant to work part-time, Monday – Friday, 30 hours per week. This is a challenging role, requiring the ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment in our corporate Human Resources Department. Duties include a variety of clerical functions: providing administrative support to members of the HR Team, maintaining personnel files, performing duties associated with the on-boarding of new employees (performing background checks, creating offer letters and agreements, scheduling new hire trainings, etc.), entering of data into our HRIS software, and a variety of other items in support of the Firm’s employees.

The successful candidate will need to be highly organized and detail oriented, have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an office setting, a high level of drive and initiative, an ability to make decisions independently when necessary, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in MS Office applications (primarily Excel and Word), and a willingness to learn new software applications specific to the HR department. Experience with HRIS software a plus.
