GoDaddy.com is looking for an experienced technician to join the IT Operations team as a NOC Command & Control Analyst. As an ITOC Command & Control Analyst, you will be responsible for the availability of GoDaddy.com and all GoDaddy.com services, applications and infrastructure. In this role, you will:


  • Monitor the GoDaddy.com infrastructure, including:
    • Website, email, database, and dedicated servers
    • Network health and devices
    • Customer facing web development applications
    • Multiple Data Centers and Customer Care Centers
    • GoDaddy.com website and services availability
  • Respond quickly to monitoring alerts, provide incident triage, and manage incident resolution.
  • React quickly to any operational issues that may affect service availability and facilitate resources to resolve issues.
  • Properly escalate incidents to the appropriate teams within the organization.
  • Clearly document troubleshooting steps and activities using the CA Service Desk application (training provided).
  • Perform submitted requests from development and production teams as needed.
  • Complete assigned reports accurately and on time.
  • Assist with special projects when needed.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including the OSI Model, TCP/IP, UDP, and routing protocols. Familiarity with the Cisco CLI is a plus.
  • 2 years of technical support experience with common internet and OS technologies, including: DNS, HTTP, FTP, SSH, RDP, Windows and Linux OS.
  • Dependability and a positive team player approach are critical!
  • Must have the ability to multi-task well with minimal supervision.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Good customer service skills and the ability to remain focused are required.
  • Proven ability to quickly determine the solution to common problems.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of network communication fundamentals.

*Technical certifications are preferred but not required. Examples include: Linux+, Network+, Server+, MCSA, or CCNA, etc.
