Job Description

The Registration Scheduling Manager directs and supervises the activities and staff of the Registration and Call Center Teams to ensure these areas are well staffed and trained to serve the needs of our patients and organization.  This includes staffing, coordinating registration and scheduling activities by maintaining procedures, scheduling and distributing work, meeting and helping to establish departmental and quality goals.  In addition, this position will represent the department for related meetings and keep their staff updated and ensure training is completed, as needed.  Actively participates in the quality improvement processes within and between departments to ensure a high level of quality.  Promote and advance the mission and values of the organization in all activities while maintaining confidentiality.  Adheres to all policies, laws, standards and/or regulations established by federal and state regulatory agencies and/or governing bodies in the course of performing job duties.

Location:  Administration Office, 2901 W. Beltline Hwy., Madison, WI

Hours:  Monday – Friday, 5 days per week, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Skills/Requirements

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business related field with a minimum of two years of supervisory experience OR Associate’s Degree in business related field with a minimum of five years of supervisory experience OR High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of ten years of supervisory experience.
• A minimum of two years previous medical or dental registration or business office experience.
• Knowledge of insurance billing including third party payers.
• Proficient in PC software, especially word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Preferred:

• Two years collections or patient accounts experience.
• EPIC experience and/or certification in Prelude, Cadence and Resolute or comparable healthcare EMR software.
• Project management experience.
