The diversity of our operations has recently created an opportunity for a new Security Administrator in our Enfield, Connecticut offices.

The Security Administrator is responsible, as a member of the security team, for analyzing the information security environment and developing security measures to safeguard information against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure.  Assists in determining methods of implementing and enforcing security policies; confers with other IT and business staff to identify and implement security plans for data, software applications, hardware, telecommunications, and computer installations.  Assists in developing and supporting necessary compliance within the PCI DSS regulations set forth by the major credit card companies. 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Project Management: Partner with hardware and software vendors, Brooks Brothers business users, IT Management to identify areas for process and security improvements.  Lead project team to design and implement the solutions in a timely manner ensuring corporate strategies are supported and ensuring compliance to the Brooks Brothers Project Life Cycle.  Ensures compliance with PCI/Security standards.  Responsible for ensuring clear and accurate communications/status reports are distributed in a timely manner.  Responsible for ensuring accurate time reporting. Manage more than one project or projects of medium magnitude or parts of a large project.
  • Technical Support: Monitors compliance with the organization’s information security policies and procedures among employees, contractors, alliances, and other third parties and refers problems to appropriate department managers or administrators.  Troubleshoots network access problems and implements network security policies and procedures. Ensures network (LAN/WAN, telecommunications, and voice) security access and protects against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction.  Review operation logs and event console activity to determine cause of security related events or to identify potential security-related events.  Documents the information security policies and procedures instituted by the organization’s Information Security Committee.

  • Corporate Initiatives: Support the company's initiatives and business strategies as they relate to growing the business profitability and becoming a great place to work. Based on company's initiatives identifies and implements information technology solutions, aligning technology goals with company objectives.


  • Technical Skills (3+ years of the following):  Experience in project management and change management; knowledge of information security and access technologies; knowledge of database and application security; a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in experience
  • Experience: 5+ years of working in a team environment
