Description:

Rich Dad Education is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to plan, monitor, and execute company programs and initiatives through our current and future social media channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating both existing and potential social media activities and strategies to further develop interaction and discussion with our online community. The Social Media Coordinator will also be responsible for working internally with brand managers, our sales team, and other contributors to implement new promotional and informational content initiatives

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage informational and promotional content across media channels

 

  • Participate in and initiate online conversations with our community

 

  • Monitor and identify customer issues and concerns about products and services, and

coordinate with customer service team to address them

 

  • Research, plan and execute new opportunities and activities to create and nurture

online relationships within the community

 

  • Develop and manage relationships with outside vendors in regards to social media

and SEO

 

  • Work with the online marketing team to create and implement necessary creative

pieces on social media platforms

 

  • Analyze social media engagement and provide metrics to track activity

 

  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Skills/Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred

 

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant social media experience, preferably in a direct marketing environment

 

  • Demonstrates familiarity with marketing strategies on social media channels

Including: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, blogs, etc.

 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including editing of various types

of content

 

  • Strong organizational and prioritizing skills, with the ability to multi-task and manage

Projects

 

  • Has a good understanding of the relationship between SEO and Social Media, and

utilizes best practices

 

  • Understanding of web design and content generation, including web graphics, and

                 associated software such as Word press, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Fireworks
