Director of Marketing

 

Modernizing Medicine seeks an experienced Director of Marketing to oversee all brand awareness and lead generation efforts. The Director of Marketing will have full responsibility for the Company’s brand and product marketing initiatives and must be successful at generating both highly qualified leads for our sales team and positioning ModMed as an industry leader.

This person will construct a creative, integrated, multi-channel marketing function that builds brand awareness and reputation, provides a steady flow of qualified sales leads, and continually measures the effectiveness of all our marketing initiatives.

The Director of Marketing will initially report directly to the CEO and the ideal candidate will have the potential to move up to VP level by proving their ability to perform and to manage effectively in an environment of fast growth.  Only experienced business-to-business technology marketing professionals with director or VP level experience will be considered.

Your Role:

  • Develop and own a comprehensive strategic marketing plan including: lead generation programs, brand, reputation, awareness, content, campaigns, communications, events and marketing operations.
  • Develop and implement individual marketing programs for individual products.
  • Manage all aspects of the marketing budget; determine mix and allocation across all channels.
  • Directly manage brand, messaging, reputation and lead flow processes.
  • Be accountable for measuring and reporting on campaign results.
  • Manage the evaluation and selection of all marketing vendors.
  • Work directly with sales to ensure properly focused marketing initiatives and highly effective processing of inbound inquiries
  • Work directly with individual product managers to ensure proper understanding of relevant market segments and ideal positioning of all offerings
  • Manage a team of talented marketing professionals so that they are productive and efficient; also manage their career development and ensure that they love their jobs.
  • Continually increase the quantity and quality of marketing qualified inquiries and leads.
  • Measure and report on everything, using data to constantly refine programs and priorities.
  • Lead cross-functional regular meetings with sales to communicate results and guide their involvement in priority setting.
Skills/Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in a Director or VP role with direct people management experience
  • 10+ years of very successful business-to-business software marketing
  • Must have small or midsize company experience, preferably with cloud/SaaS- based companies
  • Expertise and passion for modern, progressive marketing techniques
  • Tireless, motivated, confident, determined professional with great communications skills, integrity and judgment
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
  • Healthcare experience preferred
