Bon Appétit Management Company at [LOCATION] is hiring a Cashier who is responsible for managing the proper transaction of food sales and customer service for a diverse high volume food service operation.
Follows all Bon Appétit cash handling standards.
Monitors and maintains retail and display items, beverages, coffee, and condiment area.
Ensures that all retail and display items at their station, are meeting the pre established Great Expectations display standards.
Serves customers in an efficient and friendly manner; resolves customer concerns.
Greets customers, smiles and process sale properly.
Keeps cashier area clean, utilizing proper cleaning products and sanitation standards.
Counts, verifies, and reconciles daily sales.
Is courteous and helpful to all customer requests, seeks assistance from management or supervisors as needed.
Make coffee or espresso drinks.
Assist with pastry or bakery purchase.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
Stand and walk for extended periods of time (2 – 4 hours).
Walk; use hands or finger, handle or feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Repetitive motion of reaching, register use, and handling change (use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms)
Twist and bend while standing.
Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and taste or smell.
