Sunquest is a global market leader offering healthcare diagnostic IT solutions for today and tomorrow. We are seeking a Manager, Technical Training to lead our technical training team to the next level of performance and capability.  As the Manager, Technical Training for Sunquest, you will be responsible for managing the design, development and deployment activities associated with instructor-led and technology based training for customer based product needs, employee on-boarding and ongoing proficiency training. Your efforts will have an impact the Healthcare Industry!

Job Description-

As the Manager, Technical Training at Sunquest your key contributions will be to:
• Establish goals and objectives for the department and effectively manage staff
• Manage the successful design, development and delivery of all technical training opportunities, including classroom based instructor-led seminars and e-learning that may consist of online self-paced courses, web conferences, webcasts and web delivered seminars.
• Manage all technical training regional seminars and/or onsite training requests.
• Coordinate marketing programs that support the continued growth of the department, both internally and externally.  

 

Skills/Requirements

Requirements:
• BS/BA degree in Management Information Systems, Business Management, Education, Healthcare Specialty, or equivalent.
• Experience as a manager and with project management.
• Effective presentation skills, organization and communication skills (verbal, written and electronic).
• Creative problem solving skills.
• Specific skills in managing the design, development and marketing of training programs with an emphasis on exceptional customer service.
• Some travel to different time zones and different countries may be required.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in managing Client facing education and training programs preferred.
• Prefer experience using or supporting application software in a corporate technical training environment.
• Experience in Sunquest products a plus
