For more than 30 years Vein Clinics of America (VCA) has been dedicated to the treatment of all aspects of Varicose Vein Disease (VVD).  Acknowledged as experts in the field, VCA has helped lead advances in the treatment of VVD. And with 50 clinics across 15 states, we're growing!   Due to a recent promotion, we are seeking a results driven Account Recovery Specialist III for our office in Downers Grove, Illinois

In this position your duties would include but not limited to the following:

• Process timely and accurate billing of claims per VCA guidelines and policies for assigned payor.
• Perform and document collection activity timely to resolve issues at the earliest stage of the process to meet accounts receivable targets.
• Review and correct claims for errors identified pre and post submission of the claim.
• Identify research and resolve differences in payment versus expected payment and non-payment.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to support centers and colleagues for resolution of issues. 
• Manage all delinquent accounts with the insurance company
• Follow up on all open claims
• Submit appeals to insurance companies on behalf of VCA
• Monitor Collections queue 
• Take inbound/outbound phone calls 

      KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• 3-5 years of medical collections experience required.
• Excellent phone skills
• Billing software knowledge preferred
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work with little or no supervision
• Good problem solving and analytical skills                                                                                                                                                  
   

Hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am-5pm, however, hours may vary. Must be open to overtime as business needs dictate.
