Fab is looking for a talented, smart, and entrepreneurial Buyer for our Pets category. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for pets and pet products, a high level of flexibility, commitment, and a good sense of humor.

The Fab Buyer must be able to:

• Work with vendors specialized in pet-related products
• Source new vendors and product subcategories
• Communicate the Fab vision and selling method to potential suppliers/designers
• Select assortments of pet and pet owner products with the Fab aesthetic
• Negotiate appropriate pricing structures, terms, and fulfillment methods with vendors
• Supervise assistant buyer/s on Pets team

• Bachelors Degree
• Must have a background in sales or buying
• Possess a background in pet category or relevant related experience
• Understand the Fab aesthetic and approach to product selection
• Proficient in Excel
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team setting
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Must be a creative and flexible thinker and have a high level of initiative
• Strong interpersonal skills along with a strong customer focus
