GENERAL FUNCTIONS:

To perform duties of Quality Control within TruHome Solutions Mortgage

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Pre funding/pre closing quality control
2. Data verification of automated underwriting system
3. Verification of personal identification information
4. Verify income documentation and calculation
5. Verify proper employment documentation     
6. Verify assets to close and reserve requirements
7. Verify address and appraisal information
8. Verify adequacy of mortgage insurance coverage
9. Verify whether additional credit was granted and considered prior to closing
10. Promotes honest and open communication throughout the company
11. Demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with the credit union’s values, philosophies, and leadership characteristics
12. Work with other credit union departments to insure the workflow or process is providing the best service to the members
13. Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 

1. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
2. Ability to resolve interpersonal conflict and miscommunications.
3. Knowledge of spreadsheet software and ability to use word processing software.
4. Must be able to be bonded.
5. 1-3 years of mortgage lending experience.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

In this position, individual will be expected to lift up to 20 pounds from time to time.

Also, must be able to stoop, bend, reach, or stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position is expected to work in general office environment and may have to travel for visits to other credit union facilities or for training purposes.

 EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Mortgage Lending experience with concentrated knowledge of processing, closing, underwriting, and funding.
