Performs administration, support, and ongoing enhancement of the organization's local/wide area network and telephony infrastructure. Directs and coordinates activities to ensure efficient and effective systems functionality. Responsible for the management of maintenance contracts and specific vendor relationships. Role requires forward looking planning focused on consistent uptime, overall network security and recoverability.
Provides enterprise-wide network and systems administration functions.
Project management for all major IT department initiatives. Conceives, scopes, delegates, participates in, or owns projects as necessary. Responsible for IT department resource planning for projects that improve the short and long term health of the Banks infrastructure.
Develops IT procedures. Assists Information Security Officer on IT policy development and enforcement.
Identifies, researches and resolves problems to ensure infrastructure effectiveness and efficiencies. Communicates with departments to report and resolve software, hardware and operational problems. Recommends and implements measures to improve efficiencies and ensure service levels are met.
Interacts with external vendors to resolve issues, advises vendors on user needs, and manages implementation of vendor products. Negotiates contacts with vendors and manages ongoing relationships.
Participates in the oversight of install, testing, upgrade and configuration of network printing, directory structures, rights, security, software and hardware.
Designs, specifies, configures, installs, and maintains local/wide area network infrastructure, including telecommunications services. Maintains network documentation.
Responsible for the development of monitoring processes, resource planning, upgrades and future planning for the Bank’s virtual infrastructure and Storage Area Network.
Responsible for the ongoing assessment of the production environment and identify opportunities for improvement. This should include all areas of the production environment and consider DR preparedness, backup, monitoring, storage, etc. Lead efforts to implement appropriate changes.
Follows applicable laws and regulations, including OCC guidance regarding security and IT deployment.

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
5 years IT experience and knowledge of IT application systems
Advanced software system administration skills
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system
Excellent knowledge of network infrastructure.
Sound judgment and decision-making abilities
Strong leadership and business communication skills.
Ability to organize and prioritizeand meet established deadlines
Ability to develop strategies, documentation, project plans, test plans, prioritize tasks and provide guidance to IT staff
