The Recruiter is responsible for filling positions by determining hiring requirements; planning and implementing recruiting campaigns; targeting, contacting, and qualifying candidates. The Recruiter will manage, monitor and report the effectiveness of the employee recruiting cycle from beginning of interview process through signing of employment letter.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for full recruiting cycle including sourcing, applicant testing, interviewing, presenting and closing qualified entry-level to senior-level candidates.
Employs a variety of sourcing techniques to identify a high quality, diverse candidate pool in an efficient, cost effective manner, i.e. cold calling, internet, research firms, user groups.
Pre-screens all resumes received via traditional recruiting methods prior to presentation to manager; conduct phone screens and provide summaries of candidates to managers.
Initiates reference checks and work with background screening vendor as required.
Documents actions by updating applicant tracking system in real time.
Prepares recruiting and hiring reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Comfortable with prioritizing and multi-tasking in a fluid, high volume environment.
Must be able to target successful candidates quickly. Influence, negotiate and drive deals to closure.
Ability to work effectively with portfolio recruiting managers as well as vendors.
Creative, demonstrate independent judgment, strong interpersonal and communications skills.
Working knowledge of any Applicant Tracking System a plus.
Proficient with PC’s and related applications particularly Excel and Word.
