Job Description: DentalPlans.com in Plantation, Florida, is looking for a 3.5 month contracted Social Media Specialist. This position is full-time, in-house: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm, with a start date of January 2, 2013.

Job Duties:      Required but not limited to:

• Day-to-day management and development of editorial content on social media platforms such as blog, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, YouTube and LinkedIn.
• Proactively interact with online communities across all platforms
• Utilize social media monitoring tools to track conversations and report metrics
• Respond to customer service inquires/issues made online
• Create and manage social media campaigns such as contests, sweepstakes, and promotions
• Strategize with and educate management and employees on incorporating relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture and DentalPlans.com’s products and services
• Work with agency-type settings to coordinate efforts with overall marketing calendar and other business units
• Perform monthly competitor social media watch
• Measure the impact of social media on the overall marketing efforts

Job Requirements: 

• Bachelors degree (preferably in marketing or communications)
• 3+ years experience professionally managing social media accounts.
• Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to interact with the customers and management of the organization
• Ability to keep up-to-date with internet technology and utilize those skills in the social media marketing platform
• Collaborative team player with the ability to integrate with a diverse team
• Tech-savvy and well versed with computer applications
• Ability to think creatively and design marketing campaigns and strategies
• Google Analytics and social media reporting experience required
