Job Description

Cayman Chemical Company is a biomedical research company based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Cayman helps make research possible by supplying scientists worldwide with biochemical tools used to understand cancer, neurochemistry, oxidative injury, endocrinology, atherosclerosis, and other human health challenges. We specialize in assay kits for the measurement of hormones and bio-markers. In addition, Cayman offers a broad range of specialty biochemicals used as research reagents and qualified standards. Cayman performs generic drug development and production in both Ann Arbor, Michigan and Neratovice, Czech Republic.

We are currently seeking candidates for a Marketing Assistant of which the requirements are:

  • Coordinate promotional campaigns and conference materials, including handouts, literature selection, equipment and graphics. Track relevant shipments.
  • Track and disperse information once conferences are over.
  • Load USB drives with relevant conference material and ensure delivery to shows.
  • Enter contacts/leads and questionnaires into CRM database after each conference.
  • Coordinate direct mailings to customers.
  • Compile marketing data and summary reports.
  • Track marketing inventory and ensure proper lead time for replenishment.
  • Research and propose new promotional items to use for special events.
  • Plan and coordinate product specials, discounts and programs.
  • Maintain Cayman’s mailing list database and promotional materials. 
     
Skills/Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing or related business field.
  • 1-2 years of Customer Service or Marketing experience. 
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. 
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to communicate effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills are essential.
