Definition of product planning and opportunities, which will fulfill development of product strategy. Deliverables for product planning include roadmap, new and maintenance release content, program plan and other deliverables as identified by Marketing management.
Implementation of the corporate business strategy with accountability for product profitability. This includes utilizing knowledge of market share, competitive analyses and win-loss information to create the following for the product: positioning, pricing, demonstrated ROI and promotion.
Assist in analyzing and recommending potential strategic partners and assembling complementary products and services.
Independently lead analysis or direct others in analyzing and recommending potential strategic partners and assembling complementary products and services, taking into account other Sunquest product lines or business units that may utilize the same.
Maintain successful relationships with third party hardware and software vendors.
Identify new business and growth opportunities within the assigned product line including analysis of the opportunity that includes justification, positioning, potential pricing and ROI.
Accountable for assuring product success through the lifecycle including the following: organizing and leading product planning, phase review and operational preparedness across all involved departments.
Accountable that the Sales team has the training, information, demonstrations and collaterals to sell the product.
In conjunction with Marketing Communications, accountable for successful launch of product/service into the marketplace.
Accountable for relationships and product value that results in positive client satisfaction ratings.
Accountable for UK marketing plan and activity. Point person for directing others in UK marketing activity
Accountable for completeness, accuracy and tiering of UK and Middle East database

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent qualification, in IT or Healthcare;
5+ years experience within the Healthcare industry, or product management
Domain expert, including technologies, market trends, competition and client requirements.
Experienced with successfully executing defined product business plans that have enhanced market share and revenue.
Strong understanding of product marketing processes.
Extensive travel within the UK is a feature of this role.
