Job Description

This position will be responsible for creating and executing the global marketing strategy.  The incumbent will work closely with Crowley Webb (external marketing firm), CEO and BU Presidents to ensure our success.


This a full time position for at least 1 year and could develop into a long term hire. 




  1. Create the marketing strategy.
  2. Create and manage the project plan for the marketing strategy.  Meet expected project milestones, outcomes and the approved budget.
  3. Partner in the creative design of the graphic identity package to include: logos, signage, business cards, electronic signatures, advertisements and stationary.
  4. Create, rollout and maintain content of the company website.  Monitor website statistics and ensure first page ranking of key search words.
  5. Interact with management to understand the business philosophy and develop content for brochures, product sheets, website, advertisements and other marketing collateral.   Consistently incorporate our unique strengths and competitive advantages into the content.
  6. Coordinate tradeshows and ensure all appropriate company solutions are represented.
  7. Develop, monitor and measure the effectiveness of:   brand awareness, API Heat Transfer’s reputation as a global company delivering highly engineered, high quality products and reputation of R&D. 
  8. Create the global PR plan.  Write and distribute press releases, arrange and schedule interviews.
  9. Vendor relationship management and contract negotiations for marketing-related projects.
  10. Internal and external marketing communications.
  11. Conduct market intelligence.
  12. Oversee the Executive Assistant on marketing assignments recognizing she directly reports to the President  & CEO.

Education and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in communications or marketing field
  2. 7+ years of B2B  experience in all aspects of marketing strategy:  planning,  positioning, promotion, and demand generation execution, and analysis
  3. Prior experience working with an industrial company required
  4. Excellent computer skills including web design software
