This position is responsible for design of indoor/outdoor signage and printed material to be used in all Menard stores.
Design of indoor and outdoor signage for the stores:
Seasonal, promotional, and permanent signage
Design of in store Point of Purchase (POP)
Forms, tags, decals, book pages, etc. for product in various departments
Design for Menard Sponsored Programs, and Training Seminars
Other Responsibilities:
Studio and Outdoor Photography of in-use product shots for signage
The Graphic Designer is responsible for gathering information related to projects being worked on. This includes attending meetings, communicating with buyers, contacting outside vendors when needed.
The Graphic Designer will follow a project through from concept to implementation.
May travel to a local Menards store to complete a signing project
Skills/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or a design related degree
Must be proficient in Adobe CC Applications:Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and In-Design
Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook
Must have good leadership skills
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to meet strict deadlines is essential
Must be detail oriented
Must have strong work ethic and be a self-starter
Must be open-minded to change and be able to take direction
Ability to work overtime
Must be willing to relocate to Eau Claire, WI
