Job Description

Northwest Trustee Services, Inc., a full service trustee company providing default services to mortgage lenders in the Northwest, is currently recruiting for a Foreclosure Assistant for our Santa Ana office!

NWTS is the leading provider of foreclosure services in the Pacific Northwest.

The Foreclosure Assistant coordinates the securing, tracking, and recording of appropriate legal documents from title companies, county clerks, or internal departments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures legal documents from title companies, county clerks and internal departments are requested and secured.
  • Prepares legal notices
  • Records posting, service and publication charges; posting, service and publication dates and similar documents and dates in the File Tracking System.  
  • Coordinates the efforts of third party services for document execution and creation.
  • Orders and reviews title reports.
  • Accurately documents all activities.
  • Maintains manual and electronic files.
  • Enters data of documents sent and received.
  • Receives documents for recording and filing.
  • Assists the Foreclosure Analysts as requested. 
  • Answers incoming calls from clients and homeowners.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); and at least two years related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Computer Skills:

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access.
