Job Description

Bon Appetit Management is an outstanding food driven company (www.bamco.com). We are looking for excited, passionate hospitality professionals to join our team at Wheaton College located in the heart of Wheaton, Illinois. We seek a service minded individual to serve food to students and also cashier as needed in our Stupe retail operation. This person must be extremely friendly with food service experience; must possess excellent communication skills; this person will serve food and take care of any needs the students or management may have during the meal periods; must be available from 10:00AM to 5:00PM Monday through Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Ability to interact with diverse and high volume customer base in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Ability to use the time clock system properly, and record worked hours for processing. 
  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.  Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to answer basic questions regarding unit operations and direct other questions to appropriate parties.
  • Posses the ability to meet Bon Appétit unit specific uniform standards for this position. 
  • Utilize all Personal Protective Equipment’s per Bon Appétit guidelines.
  • Wear a cut resistant glove whenever using a sharp or potentially sharp tool or instrument.

  • Ability to speak, read, and follow simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
