Job Description

Northwest Trustee Services, Inc., a full service trustee company providing default services to mortgage lenders in the Northwest, is currently looking for a Reporting Specialist Lead for our Lake Oswego office.

NWTS is the leading provider of foreclosure services in the Pacific Northwest.

The Reporting Specialist Lead allocates work amongst the Reporting Team. They identify file status and updates through various client systems. The lead also uses industry experience to provide senior leadership to other group members.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitors client systems for update requests
  • Leads, directs, and motivates Reporting team
  • Coordinates the activities of the Reporting team, including overseeing the workload of each team member
  • Works closely with internal teams to ensure files are tracked and updated properly
  • Maintains file status in both client and internal file tracking systems
  • Provides excellent internal customer service at all times
  • Works in a team environment to ensure equal allocation of workload
  • Reviews files to ensure the timeline is moving forward and escalate any issues
  • Coordinates training for all team members, specifically new hires, and training opportunities for tenured members
  • Completes special projects as assigned
  • Reviews, interprets and distributes client announcements to internal departments
  • Timely completes Vendor/Client requests for updates
  • Maintains Fannie Mae and foreclosure stage timeline compliance in client systems
  • Reports to the Director of Business Analysis

Skills and requirements: 

  • A minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute is required
  • 10-Key with accuracy is required
  • Work effectively under time pressure while striving for excellence
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team
  • Plan, organize, and schedule workload efficiently;  manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills and take on new areas of responsibility
  • Display a high level of self-motivation
  • Excellent customer service skills
