POSITION SUMMARY
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the recruitment of direct hires and contingent labor across a variety of functions, industries and levels and the administrative management of contingent workforces. The Talent Acquisition Specialist interfaces with client stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are consistently met in a timely manner. An exceptional level of customer service is required and expected in order to contribute to the Company’s overall success in delivering services to our clients.
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS
Develop recruitment plans and sourcing strategies
Partner with members of the Talent Acquisition team and client stakeholders to identify, attract and hire “best” talent
Continuously source candidates to build strong candidate pipelines for assigned clients
Conduct candidate phone screens and assessments
Conduct in-person interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications
Manage the job offer process
Perform background, reference and drug checks on job applicants and interpret results
Conduct New Hire Orientations
Track and report recruiting statistics and maintain recruiting system with a high level of integrity and accuracy
Document all correspondence with candidates and clients in WPG systems to ensure accurate records and compliance
With regards to contingent employees working on client sites:
Negotiate pay rates to accommodate clients’ billing structure
Hire, provide feedback and terminate contingent employees as needed
Manage the work schedules of contingent employees
Manage the daily questions, payroll inquiries, scheduling concerns, “call-outs” and other questions from contingent employees working on site at clients
Monitor & approve time tracking entries of contingent employees
Provide annual reviews to contingent employees
Manage client relationships where necessary
Perform other tasks as needed
Skills/Requirements
6+ months of experience (1 year preferred)
Associates degree; 4-year college degree (preferred)
Experience with full cycle direct hire and high volume recruiting
Experience with temporary staffing (preferred)
Experience with professional/social networking and internet sourcing
Good understanding of employment law and HR policies
Familiarity with web-based Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
Proficient with MS Office applications, especially MS Word and Excel
Self starter, who is flexible and adaptable to constant change and has the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to relate to individuals at all levels.
Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in English (U.S.) both written and orally, in one-on-one and group settings.
Good presentation skills
Strong multi-tasking skills
Strong sense of urgency
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Occasional travel to client locations
Must have a valid driver’s license
