We are currently seeking to hire an Automation Test Engineer/Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to work with our Research and Development Team. The engineer must be able to leverage their computer science engineering, technical, and analytical skills to drive and prove quality. What does the job entail?
Participate in agile concepts such as: daily stand-up meetings, task tracking boards, design and code reviews, automated and iterative testing, & rapid defect resolution.
Develop and maintain test frameworks, tests, and tools, to provide quality for the team’s existing and new products/features.
Mentor department test engineers on automation tools, frameworks, and best practices.
Skills/Requirements
Do you have what it takes?
Experience with at least one programming language (e.g. C#, PHP, JAVA)
1+ years experience utilizing a programming language for development/or automation testing purposes.
2+ years experience with testing and/or developing Web technologies and applications such as HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, XML, Web Services, and relational databases.
Experience with automation scaffolds/tools (e.g. Java/JUnit/Selenium, C#/MSTEST/WebAii, Ruby/Watir, QTP, etc).
Experience with performance and hardware failure testing is preferred.
Experience in both Windows and Linux environment is preferred.
TSQL knowledge and relational database design is preferred.
