Job Senior QA Tester - Job Description

We are looking for a QA Tester to assess software quality through manual testing for one of our esteemed Clients. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches. In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications and systems work correctly.

Primary Responsibilities:

• 4-8 years of hands-on experience in Software Testing (Mobile and Web).
• 4+ years of experience in mobile platforms like iOS and Android.
• Review and analyze system requirements. 
• Should be able to create Test Scenarios/Test Cases.
• Execute test cases and analyze results.
• Report bugs and errors to development teams.
• Should be able to pull log reports for Android (ADB commands) and iOS (Xcode or Terminal).
• Should have solid knowledge on GAR/A11y and i18 testing.   
• Very good communication (verbal + writing) skills as the associate has to interact with customers daily.
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Should be Out of box thinker and smart worker.
• Positive attitude towards daily work challenges and enthusiasm to learn new things quickly.
• Should be able to take end-end ownership of assigned deliverables with least monitoring.
• Flexibility in working hours when needed.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role.
• Requirement Analysis, Test case creation/updation, Test case execution, Bug logging/verification
• Familiarity with Functional testing. 
• Thorough knowledge on SDLC, STLC and Defect Life Cycle (Tracking), Test Management and related Tools.
• Excellent communication skills & Attention to detail.
• Analytical mind, problem-solving aptitude & strong organizational skills.
• Experience with GAR/A11y & Localization testing is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years - Manual Testing experience (Web & Mobile Applications).
• 4+ years – Testing skills (Requirement Analysis, Test Scenario/Test Case creation and Execution).
• Experience in GAR/A11y & Localization testing is a Plus.
• Analytical thinking with attention to detail.
• Motivated to solve problems and collaborate with co-workers to find a resolution.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or other Information Technology related degree.
