Software Engineer II

It’s your chance to make a mark in the martech (marketing technology) by owning and creating next generation experiences and intelligence products that customers love.The job is to redefine how users interact with brands in each step of the customer lifecycle journey.

Role:

As a Software Engineer III you will play a pivotal role in making our Experiences and Intelligence products highly successful, by leveraging your expertise to implement and maintain complex features while ensuring quality, high-availability and continued innovation.

Responsibilities:

? Develop high quality code to implement features
? Write unit tests for all new code
? Improve code quality by applying solid design principles
? Perform code reviews
? Exhibit end-to-end ownership of a feature/task/bug
? Support and own application availability per defined SLA
? Work closely with Engineering manager to suggest and implement architectural/design changes
? Work closely with Product manager to ideate and build feature enhancements

You are:

? An engineer with BE/BTech in Computer Science or equivalent degree
? A person with 2-4 years of experience in building enterprise grade products
? A strong understanding of microservice architecture
? The Ability to design, develop and implement scalable, elastic microservice based platforms
? Well versed with one or more of these technologies:
? Java, Scala, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript
? AWS (Kinesis, SWF, EC2, SQS, DynamoDB etc.)
? Elasticsearch, Redis, MySQL
? Next.js or React.js
? Experienced in one or more of these technologies:
? SASS, LESS or similar CSS preprocessors
? Twitter Bootstrap, Google Material Design, Foundation, or similar; experience with CSS3 features
? HTML5 features
? Experience with EsNext library features and NodeJs
? Deep knowledge of web and accessibility standards
? Solid experience building Responsive user interfaces
? An engineer who writes testable and modular code
? Someone who understands git, pull requests and good software development practices
? A programmer with a good understanding of Social media domain (nice to have)
? A believer in being Agile and not just doing Agile
