On any given day, the associate may be called upon to perform the duties of a driver, a warehouse associate, or both depending on business needs.

While driving, duties include operating and maintaining transportation vehicles with a focus on safety and customer courtesy; performing minor maintenance tasks on the vehicles when necessary, and preparing trip reports. Provide timely, error free, and courteous tire delivery following established company policies and procedures. The position supports the sales function by completing each job on time, without error or omission. Drivers will provide other services as requested by management when not engaged in transportation service. Possession of a valid driver’s license is required.

While working in the warehouse, duties include staging, loading, and unloading tires and associative automotive parts, as well as, assisting in maintaining an accurate warehouse inventory.

Candidates for this job must:

- Be able to bend, stoop, kneel, lift passenger and light truck tires, wheels and shop equipment up to approximately 50 lbs. (on occasion weight may exceed 50 lbs.)

- Posses a valid PA Driver's License

- Have access to reliable transportation

• Warehouse Responsibilities

  • Unload and stack tires from inbound loads.
  • Select and stage tires for outbound delivery.
  • Assist during the loading process.
  • Move and rack tires into the storage/selection locations.
  • Responsible for quality control. No damaged/defective product is shipped or received.
  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and OSHA guidelines.
  • Complete daily checklists.
  • Communicate effectively with other associates.
  • Maintain clean work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  Delivery Responsibilities

  • Work with fellow associates as a team to provide excellent customer service.
  • Performs tire delivery following established processes and procedures.
  • Completes required service supporting customer’s requested service.
  • Maintain vehicle, per housekeeping and safety standards, providing a safe and clean working environment within the vehicle.
  • Maintains defensive driving.
  • Reads and interprets maps and driving directions to plan the most efficient route service for customers.
  • Performs minor maintenance on assigned vehicles as required.
  • Adhere to personal image standards set by CJ’s.
  • Comply with established company safety and security policies as they apply to personal protective equipment.
  • Communicates effectively with warehouse & sales management staff.
