We have an opportunity for a great Technical Writer who is responsible for writing and editing technical documentation for several software products. This person must have excellent research skills, must be able to organize their ideas and be able to translate technical terms into text that the reader can understand.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain documentation for software products, including online help, user guides/manuals, training materials, how-to documentation
• Use RoboHelp to develop and maintain online help materials
• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, while working independently and with other team members
• Learn the products by hands-on experience
• Complete writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology
• Review published materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, content, etc.
• Create diagrams, charts or drawings as needed to illustrate material, workflow, process, etc.

 Qualifications Include:

• Proficient in computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Acrobat Pro, Photoshop, Paint
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly motivated individual able to grasp complex software and learn quickly
• Must be able to demonstrate ability to work within tight deadlines
• A Bachelor’s Degree
