Education Requirements: B.S. or B.A. degree. Majoring in GIS-related field or B.S. or B.A. degree with GIS certificate.

Experience Requirements: Knowledge of designing and maintaining geodatabases. One year of experience with ArcView, 3D Analyst, and Spatial Analyst.  Ability to travel domestic and international.

Position Details: The GIS Analyst Technician will perform environmental and GIS analysis projects related to the nuclear, hydroelectric, tunneling, mining, and other civil infratstructure industries.  The GIS Analyst Technician will be responsible for the overall GIS project management including acquiring, assembling, and reproducing GIS mapping data. • Integrate hydrological information into GIS database for analysis, which will include topographic and bathymetric data for surface water analyses, groundwater well locations, and monitoring well locations.
• Work with geologists and seismologists to import georeferences and scanned geological and seismic maps as well as import earthquake locations.
• Generate figures for technical reports and proposals.
• Reproduce topographic maps, aerial photography, environmental, hydrological, geological data, and natural as well as man-made features.
• Maintain and update company GIS standards as necessary.
• The GIS Analyst Technician is responsible for performing activities in accordance with the QA Manual and other procedures applicable to the project.
