HEBCO, INC. is seeking an experienced S1000D Technical Documentation Writer to join their Technical Data development team. The position will support the military services development and implementation of S1000D data sets and publishing of technical manuals and engineering data. The selected individual will work in a team environment with customers, suppliers, application users, and other technical and support personnel. Limited travel to customer sites is expected in order to develop source material in conjunction with publishing.

The qualified candidate will have expertise with S1000D, common source databases, content management, file structures, publishing systems, illustrated parts data, interactive electronic technical manuals (IETM) and the use of SGML and XML.

Experience with S1000D Business Rules, S1000D Business Rules Exchange (BREX), Data Module (DM) development and sustainment, Data Module Requirements List (DMRL) development and sustainment, Publication Module development and sustainment, Common Source Database (CSDB) management, editing and publishing tools to include Arbortext Editor. A working knowledge and understanding of SGML and the ability to create/modify line art illustrations is beneficial but not required. The candidate will have excellent organizational skills. Strong verbal/written communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications: Vocational or technical training preferred, with a minimum of 2-5 years experience in related technical experience.  US citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance required. Some travel may be required. Position located in Oklahoma City, OK.
