Job Description

Due to international expansion, Advicent seeks a Sales Account Executive to target the northwest England area including, but not limited to the cities of Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham.  Advicent's Web-based technology solutions allow insurance brokers to differentiate themselves in a challenging marketplace. This person will employ a consultative sales process while hunting for new business and leverage industry relationships to create recurring revenue.

With an 8-week paid training at the corporate headquarters, Advicent sales professionals are positioned for success and consistently able to meet and exceed goals.

During the first year selling with Advicent, a Sales Executive has the opportunity to earn over £70,000 between a generous base pay and un-capped commission.  In addition, members of the team compete to attend an annual tropical Leaders Club incentive trip, among many other perks.

 Essential Functions

  • Generate new business by leveraging existing relationships, prospecting, conducting market analysis and cold calling insurance agencies.
  • Conduct software demonstrations and promote Advicent at industry conferences.
  • Drive and manage the entire sales process – targeting to top prospects, identifying client solutions, negotiating and closing.
  • Act as a “solutions expert” consultant in helping partners with their unique critical business issues and strategic initiatives.




Skills/Requirements
  • Minimum of 1.5 years of strategic sales experience in business products or services.
  • Demonstrated track record in closing new business, exceeding sales targets with ability to demonstrate software to potential users. Ability to push past rejection to achieve results.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and deliver powerful presentations.
  • College degree in business, marketing or related discipline.
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry is helpful.
  • Demonstrated computer systems knowledge, including web technologies, CRM, employee self-service and a general understanding of larger business system applications and the ability to interact with MIS personnel.
  • Personal credit card, or functional equivalent, required for business expenses which shall be reimbursed pursuant to company policy.
  • Must live in assigned territory and have the ability to work from a remote home office.
