Pricing Analyst Apply
CO - Greenwood Village (Home Office)

Based at our Greenwood Village Home Office you will be responsible for analysis and recommendations regarding the pricing strategy for Red Robin and Red Robin's Burger Works. As a key partner with Marketing, you will serve as the finance point of contact for all pricing decisions including limited time offerings as well as core menu offerings. You must possess strong business acumen and superior quantitative skills.

Additional Duties Include:

  • Turn analysis into insights and effectively communicate the findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Analyze current pricing strategy and provide recommendations for pricing of current menu items as well as limited time offerings.  
  • Monitor competitive activity to understand our relative pricing and recommend changes based on competitive pressure.  
  • Analyze pricing actions to understand consumer trade behavior that might impact pricing flow-through. Provide regular updates to Marketing Team and Executive team on overall program pricing both internally and competitively.
  • Support pricing strategy by assisting in development of accurate cost estimates for future items.
  • Support the Finance and Marketing Teams from an analytical and financial perspective by providing regular and ad-hoc analysis and recommendations on pricing changes and promotional campaigns.
  • Be a subject matter expert who develops and presents recommendations from accurate assessments and/or analysis
  • Deliver data-driven insights related to increasing sales and gross profit
  • Present key findings and program results to the team
  • Analyze the profitability of product/menu mix, and evaluate the financial impact of pricing (changes to sales, food cost and overall profitability).

Requirements:

  • 1+ Year of pricing analysis experience with a quantitative, preferably with a restaurant/retail company
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Math
  • Must be proficient in databases and Microsoft Office including; Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access.
  • Knowledge of Oracle ERP systems a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to accumulate, organize and assimilate large amounts of data from multiple data sources and the ability to turn data into insights
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to communicate with multiple levels of the organization
  • Team-oriented with ability to work on multiple projects and with multiple teams
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects
  • Curiosity and drive
