Field Trainer - Eastern Region Apply

The Field Trainer position will be responsible for positively influencing the execution of all field-facing Learning & Development (L&D) programs at the hourly and salary manager levels.  As a business partner, the Field Trainer will collaborate with Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs), Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs), Regional Operations Directors (RODs), and restaurant management teams to raise awareness, increase accountability and identify solutions around the execution of the various L&D programs.  Additionally, the Field Trainer will be a main point of contact for all L&D-related requests, concerns, and feedback for the field operations teams.  The Field Trainer will work directly with HRBPs and the Talent Management team to ensure solutions, prioritization, and overall services are closely aligned with the broader people strategy.  Collaboration with HRBPs will also include identifying and implementing people development needs.

             Duties Include:

  • Raise awareness, increase accountability, and identify solutions around the execution of the various L&D programs
  • Provide “on the ground” support within restaurants on all L&D programs.  This includes but is not limited to validation of Team Member Foundations execution, Management Foundations execution, utilization of turnover, user evaluation, and Learning Management System (LMS) data to influence focus and behaviors, and support of successful Certified Learning Coach (CLC) programs in each location
  • Certify new and recertify existing training restaurants
  • Monitor Manager-In-Training (MIT) progress
  • Provide support for all field LMS users
  • Provide consistent feedback and thought leadership on existing and proposed designs of current and future L&D products and programs
  • Assist in the testing and design of L&D products and programs
  • Implement new L&D products and programs successfully into the field
  • Provide deployment support for company programs and initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

 

             Physical Effort

  • Lifting up to 10 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Frequent travel up to 75% of time including driving
  • Color and depth perception required for vision.  Needs both near and far vision.
  • Stands and walks constantly
  • Frequent hand washing required

    Desired:

  • Salary manager restaurant experience or Training Department experience
  • Bachelor or Associate Degree
  • Expert knowledge of Red Robin team member and management training programs
