Catering Operations Manager Apply
CO - Greenwood Village (Home Office)

Based out of our Greenwood Village Home Office, you will be Accountable for the development, implementation and optimization of the catering menu and standard operating procedures within the enterprise. Oversees execution of catering program. You will be responsible for the development and optimization of the catering menu, works cross-functionally with all departments for the implementation of the catering menu and delivery. Achieves budgeted revenue goals. Maintains a strong focus on customer satisfaction and focused on relationship management.

Duties Include: 

• Manages catering operations with passion, integrity, and knowledge while promoting the culture and values of Red Robin
• Consistently reviews catering operations and staff to identify any problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement surrounding operational execution and delivery
• Works collaboratively with all necessary departments for the implementation and optimization of the catering program
• Establishes standards in food quality, safety, cleanliness, timeliness, order accuracy of catering products
• Establishes standard operating procedures that ensure the proper and safe delivery/distribution of catered products
• Consistently manages food, supply and labor costs to identify any problems, concerns and opportunities for improvement
• Offers new menu and packaging solutions to management
• Educates, trains and supports restaurant staff in the implementation of catering execution
• Works collaboratively with the Directors of Alternate Platforms to promote high levels of execution
• Monitors in-store operations on catering execution & best practices for compliance with company standards.
• Prepare and present catering business reviews with Director of Alternate Platforms.
• Prepare and present catering food showings for Executive Team

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred; or equivalent work experience
• 4+ years’ experience in restaurant operations or experience working in the restaurant or retail industry
• 2+ years’ experience in catering operations
• Experience managing outsourced services and other 3rd party vendors
• Understands and manages challenges that arise due to holistic transformation, including escalating issues appropriately
• Understands current tools used by Red Robin and seeks continuous improvement through creative thinking and problem solving
• Can create concise and appropriate communications for various audiences (e.g., business leaders, Operations team members)
• Proven ability to build relationships and gain credibility in areas beyond defined scope of work
• Demonstrated ability to work within an evolving and dynamic environment
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
• Proven expertise in implementing and managing projects across all levels of an organization
• Ability to gain consensus among disparate groups and cross-functional teams
• Entrepreneurial aptitude with a commitment to team members and high work quality
• Up to 75% travel
