HR Compliance Analyst Apply
CO - Greenwood Village (Home Office)

Based out of our Greenwood Village, CO Home Office the Compliance Analyst contributes to the success of Red Robin through partnership with HR and Legal in all areas of compliance.  You will partner with various departments regarding compliance regulations and ensures consistent communication and deployment of changes.  You will also provide development to others regarding changes in compliance, including new employment laws and regulations and how they may impact Red Robin.

Duties Include: 

  • Develop, coordinate and document internal programs and processes to ensure Red Robin is compliant with employment related and wage and hour federal, state and local regulations
  • Lead research in federal, state and local changes in employment regulations and collaborate with HR and Legal to recommend, implement and deploy new requirements
  • Possess a complete understanding of applicable federal, state and local wage and hour laws, including but not limited to minimum wage, rest and meal periods, overtime laws, minor labor laws and payment of wages
  • Identify solutions to implement and evolve compliance programs at Red Robin
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team to ensure compliance in application, background check and interview processes
  • Partner with HR IT team to ensure and maintain working knowledge of HRIS system
  • Lead required external compliance reporting for Red Robin
  • Provide general reports on a regular basis to HR and Legal regarding company compliance efforts; develop particularized reports in partnership with HR and Legal as may be needed or requested Partner with Benefits and Payroll to ensure compliance within applicable processes
  • Align with HRDs and HRBPs on strategic compliance initiatives that effect Operations
  • Partner with various departments to ensure clear and concise communication of compliance initiatives
  • Collaborate with HR IT team to recommend and implement processes to increase efficiency and streamline compliance requirements
  • Follow up with appropriate leaders to ensure accountability of required compliance programs
  • Serve as subject matter resource on HR IS policies; including regular review for potential and/or necessary changes
  • Build and maintain internal compliance regarding personnel files and records management
  • Assists and advises business partners in compliance reporting
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to research and navigate complex information
  • Ability to communicate effectively within various levels of the organization
  • Proficient knowledge of employment related HRIS risk mitigation
  • Problem-solving, analytical skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities
  • Outstanding written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficient with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or other related field
  • Proficient in Workday

Desired:

  • PHR or SPHR certification
  • Master’s degree a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in HR and multi-state employment law
  • 3 + years of proven record of proficiency in HRIS reporting and analysis. Experience and knowledge in multi-state compliance requirements and HR policy
