Manager, Change Management & Communications Apply
CO - Greenwood Village (Home Office)

Based out of our Home Office in Greenwood Village, CO, the Manager, Change Management & Communications is responsible for developing and successfully implementing change management and internal communications throughout the Red Robin organization. This role contributes to bottom line profit through the efficient and effective execution of a comprehensive change management and communications strategy to support Red Robin’s Field and Home Office Team Members.  This role will support a culture of collaboration to achieve organizational goals in collaboration with the Director, Change Management Communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide input to support the development and implementation of a simplified and effective change management & communications strategy to improve team member engagement and increase awareness and adoption of initiatives implemented to Home Office and the Field
  • Manage communications during all stages of the initiative deployment process to provide consistent and effective communication to various stakeholder groups
  • Help develop strategic internal messaging for issues important to Red Robin’s business objectives
  • Work with the Director, Change Management & Communications to manage large-scale initiative communications and change management
  • Engage Learning & Development to deliver content as necessary
  • Cultivate collaborative relationships with stakeholders within all organizational levels, building trust and gaining credibility to achieve optimal value delivered for the Red Robin organization
  • Serve as an integral part of the Change Management & Communications team that manages detailed communications plans to meet the objectives, schedules and budgets for initiative implementations, organizational strategies and messages, and ongoing internal communication needs 
  • Implement and oversee methods for recording and tracking key performance metrics for communication quality
  • Ensure all communication activities uphold brand, standards, and value for optimal success
  • Provide leadership, mentoring and support to team to ensure understanding of the interdependence in the delivery of communications and collaboration with other cross-functional teams
  • Problem solve, adjust priorities, tasks and resources to ensure plans stays on track
  • Identify, escalate and resolve issues critical to Red Robin’s brand and standards 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred; or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years’ experience in a change management & communications role, preferably in the restaurant or retail industry
  • Understands and manages challenges that arise due to holistic transformation, including escalating issues appropriately
  • Can create concise and appropriate communications for various audiences (e.g., business leaders, Operations team members)
  • Proven ability to build relationships and gain credibility in areas beyond defined scope of work
  • Demonstrated ability to work within an evolving and dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
  • Proven expertise in implementing and managing communications across all levels of an organization
  • Ability to gain consensus among disparate groups and cross-functional teams
  • Entrepreneurial aptitude with a commitment to team members and high work quality
