Based at our Greenwood Village Home Office you will be the in-charge accountant for Company’s Canada subsidiary.

Duties Include:

• Ensure accuracy of revenue and inventory information for Canada operations transferred from the restaurant back office systems to the GL in ERP system
• Assist in the monthly close process for Canada restaurants and coordinate monthly restaurant financial review   
• Prepare timely and accurate journal entries in accordance with Canada periodic close schedule
• Accurately reconcile assigned Canada balance sheet accounts
• Prepare and present Canada balance sheet and income statement variance analysis
• Develop and maintain an effective control environment on assigned Canada accounts and tasks in accordance with SOX
• Prepare supporting schedules for internal and external auditors
• Ad hoc projects 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 3+ years corporate/public accounting experience. Preference towards industry experience with consumer-based, multi-site operations such as food & beverage (restaurant), retail, hospitality, or other consumer-based businesses.
• Unquestionable integrity, ethics and credibility.
• Understanding of relevant areas of GAAP including revenue recognition, asset capitalization, etc.
• Experience with Microsoft Great Plains and Oracle Fusion preferred.
• Experience with T-Recs reconciliation software preferred.
