Director of Financial Planning and Analysis Apply
CO - Greenwood Village (Home Office)

Based at our Greenwood Village Home Office you will be a strategic thought-partner for internal stakeholders and report to the VP, Finance, Planning & Investor Relations. The successful candidate will lead and develop an internal team to support the following areas: Finance, Operations, Budgeting, and all SG&A areas.  The Director is a catalyst for change and will lead special projects in support of Operations objectives.
 

Duties Include:

  • Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools 
  • Lead the annual planning and forecast process including financial statement preparation, evaluating capital expenditure plans, preparing corporate function cost center budgets, and preparation of presentation materials.
  • Manages the financial modeling and reporting processes.
  • Lead team of 6 professionals.
  • Prepares materials for presentation to the company’s executive management and Board of Directors
  • Provides ongoing leadership and strategic financial planning to ensure that organization is able to achieve mission and key strategies in accordance with the overall direction of the Board and Executive Committee
  • Develops and enhances existing corporate reporting tools and analytics, financial models, long-term financial forecasting and strategic resource planning for an expanding organization
  • Drives results by providing tools and timely financial information to field operators
  • Strategic partner to Operations on special projects to optimize results; hands-on analysis and modeling
  • Collaborates with Compensation on design and management of incentive plans

 

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of financial planning & analysis experience required, preferably for a publicly traded company
  • MBA is a plus
  • Robust knowledge of financial forecasting & financial analytics & modeling
  • Proven leader of high-performing teams
  • Highly effective communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate ideas, analysis and recommendations across all levels.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent planning, organizational and project management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective collaborator, builds cross-functional working relationships
  • Strong work ethic, high integrity
