Based at our Greenwood Village Home Office you will act as the overall financial business manager for Red Robin’s IT organization. You will report to the Director of ePMO, the IT Finance and Resource Manager is responsible for providing finance decision support, operational insight and guidance, and resource capacity forecasting and management to the CIO and IT leadership. You will also set the standard in which business case evaluation, procurement practices, vendor management, financial performance, cost estimating and program budgeting is conducted within the IT department.
Essential Functions:

Collaborates with CIO and IT department heads to provide operational and financial insights into the business health of RR IT

Responsible for developing and maintaining the IT departmental budget

Responsible for developing and maintaining the department financial forecast

Responsible for periodic reporting of department financials and resource utilization to IT leadership

Develops financial health inputs and metrics to be used within an IT balanced scorecard

Sets standards for operational team budget forecasting, business case development and financial reporting

Consults with IT leaders on an ad-hoc basis to meet operational goals

Acts as the main point of IT coordination in planning and execution of the IT annual budget

Acts as the main point of contact with the Corporate Finance & Accounting Teams

Drives cost efficiency methods and concepts across IT teams; (e.g. champions opportunities for cost savings, need for priority, options for levels of service, etc.)

Works with the Corporate Finance Team to establish governance and policies for IT-related cost savings initiatives

Reviews program financial and resource assignments across all of IT and makes recommendations for improvement

Monitors capital cash flow and IT assets depreciation

Conducts invoice validation and processing

Vets costs of technology components from broader business plans

Identifies IT finance process improvement opportunities

Supports IT procurement and vendor management functions by introducing industry best practices with a bias towards standardization, cost optimization and risk management.

Works to ensure financial controls meet Sarbanes-Oxley Act and risk protocols

Works to provide consultative advice for capturing maximum value on future technology investments (people, technology, services)

Tracks and manages IT resource capacity, including timekeeping, demand forecast, resource leveling, and FTE/contractor mix

Maximizes value received from vendors through sourcing management, relationship management, contract management, cost controls, performance metrics, and risk mitigation.
