Position Profile

Reporting to the District Manager, the Store Manager focuses on creating the Coldwater Creek Culture of legendary customer service, exceeding sales volume and developing his/her Store Leadership Team in a "team" environment.

What You'll Do

  • Embrace and promote the Coldwater Creek philosophy, culture and high expectation of exceptional customer service
  • Coach and develop exceptional customer service standards, flawless store processes and human resource management
  • Drive the business results by maximizing daily sales plans, controlling expenses and improving metrics through floor leadership, execution of Coldwater Creek’s training programs, continuous coaching and personal example
  • Attraction, selection and retention of top talent
  • Develop the leadership team members to promote growth within the company by implementing training initiatives, providing continuous coaching and succession planning
  • Maintain integrity of Coldwater Creeks brand identity through flawless execution of visual standards
  • Act as a liaison between store team, District Manager and field partners
  • Passion and desire for excellence; motivated and results driven
     

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 3 years experience managing a specialty retail business
  • Demonstrated leadership and integrity with experience managing a staff in excess of 15 people
  • Exceptional customer service skills; proven leadership and organizational skills
  • Merchandising/visual skills; experience with specialty retail apparel and hard goods
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive and creative problem solving ability
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Flexibility, adaptability and ability to work weekends, nights and overtime
